When I posted a short instrumental of Tropicarabica on Spotify, it instantly reached 80,000 streams! This enthusiasm from the fans for such a brief and curious demo encouraged me to finalize the song. Experimenting to combine Middle Eastern style with Haitian Konpa proved itself to be positive. Once more, Shoomy nails it by putting the appropriate Arabic fluctuations in her voice. With the help of my brother-in-law Marc Touat, the song met my expectations of creating for the first time ever, a Haitian-Middle Eastern Konpa!
