Yes, you’re hearing it correctly. This track is a cover song of the 2015 hit “Cheerleader” by Omi. After convincing my friend, the renowned singer/songwriter “BIC” to do the Haitian lyrics and to sing the song, I was honored to get the approval of two other dazzling celebrities to collaborate on the project: the world-renowned artists JPerry and Mikaben!

The Afro-beats/Rabòday style I wanted for this cover wasn’t easy to produce at first. With the skills of my friend Ronny Mc E, I am happy with the product’s result. The unexpected authentic “Rara” beat in the middle of the song, the bouncing groove, the right-on rhythmic guitar -of Jude D., the joy of my excellent female background vocals, and the “cherry-on-top” voice of my friend Evens Jean to re-boost the groove, give the crispy lyrics all they deserve to make everyone happy with “Manzè sa” (that Lady).

Also mixed by my official task force B/P2 (Bobby, Pat & Pat), be ready to dance and party a lot with Manzè Sa!
