We have been honored to see “TEZEN” as a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition with over 26,000 entries!

Coming directly from the Haitian fairy tale Tezen, this song is one of my most cherished ones. The lyrics, the music, the arrangements, and the orchestration give the song all the desired power to make us feel the tragic moment where Teramen would disappear to reunite with her lover, the half-human half-fish Tezen…

Shoomy once again dives into the music and dedicates all her soul and talented voice to give the song the emotion needed to express Teramen’s despair.
