Have you ever heard about Iguenamota? This fabulously wonderful princess was legendary Taïno Queen Anacaona’s daughter. As fierce, beautiful, and warrior as her mother, Iguenamota tried to join forces with other youth of her tribe in a rebellion, after the traitor and cruel Spaniards captured Anacaona and sent her to death by hanging her in Leogane.
This music tries to express all the sensuality of Iguenamota, the Taïno Princess, dancing for her lover.
