The devastating 2010 earthquake in Haiti inspired Joel Widmaier and I to make this adaptation of the famous Toto Bissainthe’s Dey-O. (Mourning) The music was produced for famous Haitian Filmmaker Arnold Antonin’s documentary on Haiti Earthquake, released the same year.

My lifetime friend Joel, (arrangements, percussions), and I, (Cello, piano, vocals, arrangements) joined forces in an intense 3-night production. Our goal was to reproduce all the anxiety, tragedy, suffering and fear of the Haitian population, during those tragic hours following the mega catastrophe.
